When we set up Outstep in 1997, we canvassed a number of companies to discover what they liked and disliked about agencies.

The results were, on the one hand unsurprising, yet at the same time astonishing. We could have predicted some of the comments about poor client care, about being inundated with inappropriate CV’s, about crudely copied CV’s, but not how universal such comments would be. Our strategy was quite simple – we structured our service to provide the very opposite of those complaints.

CANDIDATE VETTING
To ensure that our candidates are of the highest calibre, we follow up their references, test them using industry accepted software applications and regularly update their skills on our candidate records.

Although we do use computerised ‘matching’ techniques, to compare CV skills against client requirements, each candidate is individually assessed before being presented to you.
